Sources and coverage
We read public listings, publish the structured facts, and link to the original. We do not mirror pages, and we do not republish sellers' names or contact details.

How each source is read
| Leasehackr pre-negotiated board | The public board, seven regions, merged and de-duplicated. Read at most once a day. We publish the deal facts and link to the seller's figures in the Leasehackr calculator, which is the link the board itself gives. We do not republish their write-ups. |

| LeaseTrader | The public listing feed. We strip the seller's name, contact fields and the full VIN before anything is scored. The listing number stays in our page address so a reader can find the same listing on LeaseTrader. Listings in transfer or in review are dropped. |
| Craigslist | Not read. Its terms forbid automated collection, so no Craigslist post appears here. The coverage table says "not read" rather than zero. |
| Leasehackr private transfers | Open threads, read in full. A closed thread is dead and never renders. |
What we do not have
A source that refused us, or that we have not wired yet, is reported as UNKNOWN. A source whose terms forbid automated reading is marked "not read". Neither is ever reported as zero listings. The current state of each source, with the time of its last read, is on the data status page.
Corrections and takedown
If you own a listing or a source and want a row corrected or removed, write to takedown@realleasecost.com. Include the URL and the reason. We remove or correct the row, no argument. See takedown and corrections.
