The method, in plain words
- Take every live lease and take-over the site ranks today. Each one is priced at 12,000 miles a year.
- Read each row's all-in monthly: the payment after tax, with fees spread across the term, plus the mileage cost, an insurance estimate and a fuel or electricity estimate. The math is shown on every row.
- Take the median: sort the all-in figures and read the middle one. With an even count, the mean of the two middle values. Round to whole dollars.
